Trademark Registration
Companies in the UAE can safeguard their brand name, symbol, or emblem by registering their trademarks, which helps prevent unauthorized use. By registering a trademark, manufacturers can distinguish their products and services. Trademarks can include a variety of elements, such as names, words, signatures, letters, images, inscriptions, advertisements, figures, artwork, symbols, tax stamps, seals, or any combination thereof.
In the UAE, a registered trademark is protected for 10 years, with the option to renew it for an additional 10 years by making the required payments. Legal protection for a registered trademark in the UAE extends for ten years from the date of registration.

How To Get A Trademark Certificate?
The Ministry of Economy will review the application form. If the form is incomplete or contains incorrect documentation, it will be rejected. However, if everything is in order, you will receive an initial confirmation that your trademark registration request has been approved.
Ensure compliance with legal and established work systems to protect the rights of employees, consumers, and all other stakeholders.
After further evaluation of your application’s status, the Ministry of Economy will issue the Trademark Registration Certificate for your assets. This certificate will include the registration number, application date, business name, owner details, trademark specifics, and a list of the assets covered by the trademark.
Pay the required fees for the initial approval of your trademark registration application. Our professionals will assist you at this stage with document preparation, application form submission, legal translations, and fee payment.
After receiving approval from the Ministry, the trademark registration permission letter will be published in two local UAE-based publications. The Ministry may receive any objections to the trademark within 30 days of publication.
In the United Arab Emirates, a trademark certificate is valid for ten years and can be renewed for an additional fee.
